Monday Night Competition - November

Badminton Central Coast will be hosting a social badminton competition over 4 nights in November commencing Monday 7 November 2016, and using the following dates:
Round 1               Monday 7/11/2016
Round 2               Monday 14/11/2016
Round 3               Monday 21/11/2016
Finals                   Monday 28/11/2016
 
The competition is open to all club members. We are hoping to get 20 players in 4 teams of 5, plus some reserves. Players of all skill levels welcome. The format will be based on the Newcastle competition which has been successful in providing a lot of fun and a competitive element of play for a broad range of skill levels:

• 3 weeks round robin format finishing with a Grand Final on week 4
• 4 teams of 5 players per team (mixed). Teams will be assigned by the committee
• Players are graded and will compete against opponents of similar skill level
• Each round,  every player plays between 6-8 sets of doubles match ups
• Small prizes to be won

 
The games will be played at Henry Kendall High School, commencing at 7.00 pm.  Please be on time so that everyone can finish at a reasonable hour.
 
Fee for the entire competition (4 nights) is $25.00 per club member, payable on the first night.
 
To join, please fill out your details on the sign up sheet during any of the social sessions. Alternatively, please email your name and phone number to [email protected] by Monday 31/10/2016. The teams will be announced during that week.

Two courts will still be available for social play on Mondays during the competition.
