how do I book a court?
You don't need to book a court, in fact we don't actually rent out any courts. We play as a social group on the courts that are available. Players are expected to rotate after each game, i.e. vacate the court after their game has finished to allow other players a chance to play. On most days, players wouldn't need to wait longer than 5 minutes in between games.
do i have to be a member to play?
No, you do not need to be a member to play. Anyone wishing to give it a go or see how fun this sport is can simply turn up during any of our sessions and play. Casual/non-member playing fee is $12 per session.
what do i need to bring?
Appropriate footwear with non-marking soles is a must, as is a bottle or two of water, and a badminton racket. Shuttles will be provided.
does the club cater for beginners?
Yes, many of our members are beginners too so you will have the opportunity to play and learn with others of similar skill level. If you want any tips on how to improve your game, most of our advanced players would be more than happy to provide their ideas.... don't be afraid to ask!
