Dear members, players & friends,
We thank you for your patience. It is with great pleasure that we announce the reboot of our community sport. Our sessions at Gosford (Henry Kendall HS) will resume Wednesday, July 22nd. We still have a long way to go in dealing with COVID-19 and it is important that we each play our part in keeping all community members safe. Please ensure that you are aware of and abide by current Public Health Orders and adhere to any COVID-Safe plans. We will be introducing and implementing several new protocols / procedures aimed at creating a safer environment for all. More details to come closer to our first session. Due to the closure of the Niagara Park Stadium until the end of April, we will be standing down all badminton sessions and activities effective immediately until further notice.
We will reassess the situation towards the end of April. Until then, please stay safe and follow the advice from relevant health authorities. We’ve just received a notice from Henry Kendall High School. In an effort to impede the spread of COVID-19, the Dept. of Education has decided to suspend community usage of school facilities.
This means we are forced to suspend all social sessions at Henry Kendall HS until further notice. The Committee is urgently investigating alternate venues. If you haven’t already done so, subscribe to our newsletter here: http://eepurl.com/bOiWyP , or follow our Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/badmintoncentralcoastinc/ Stay tuned for more news. Badminton Central Coast will be hosting another social badminton starting Aug 2019 on the following days:
This is a beginner friendly social competition and is only open to our club’s members. Everyone is encouraged to participate. Your games will be played against players of similar level. Please note that there will be no badminton next Monday 29 July 2019 as the hall is unavailable on that particular night.😔
Please help us spread the word. Thank you! |
